WHAT IS GOURMET ON GORE?

Gourmet on Gore presented by Audi is a unique culinary event which takes up residence in the heart of Vail Village over the busy Labor Day Weekend. This popular event pairs world-class wines, beers and spirits with the best food from throughout the Vail Valley and offers a variety of events including the kick-off Food Trucks Al Fresco, Open-Air Tasting, Boutique Lifestyle events and more. Come enjoy the final days of summer here in Vail. 

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT THE OPEN-AIR TASTING EVENT?

Saturday – Sunday, Gore Creek Drive and Willow Bridge Road will be transformed into an open-air celebration. Stations throughout the venue will feature restaurants offering specialty dishes, in tasting portions. Pair those sweet and savory bites with a wide assortment of wine, beer and spirits.

WHEN AND WHERE WILL GOURMET ON GORE TAKE PLACE IN VAIL?

Gourmet on Gore will be held in Vail Village. Food Trucks Al Fresco will be on East Meadow Drive in the heart of Vail Village and the open-air tasting event takes place along Gore Creek Drive, Gore Creek Promenade & Willow Bridge Road in Vail Village. IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?

All ages are welcome to enjoy the festivities although you must be 21 or older to enjoy the alcoholic beverages being offered at Gourmet on Gore.

 

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE TICKETS?

Gourmet on Gore Food Trucks Al Fresco and the Open-Air Tasting events have no admission charge and is open to the public. You will need to purchase Gourmet Dollars, the event currency, to purchase tastings at the Open-Air Tasting at the variety of restaurants and wine, beer and spirit tents. There will be ticketed events that are part of Gourmet, Let's Go! programming to be announced closer to the 2022 event.

WILL WATER BE SOLD AT THE EVENT?

As part of the Gourmet on Gore green initiative, no plastic water bottles will be sold during Food Trucks Al Fresco and the Open-Air tasting. Instead, we will have Refresh & Refill water stations throughout the event for your use. Be sure to bring a water bottle so you can utilize these stations.

 

DOES GOURMET ON GORE ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

Credit cards are only accepted at dollar tents where Gourmet Dollars are sold. Gourmet Dollars are the official currency of the event, and the only payment accepted throughout the venue. There will be ATMs available throughout the event venue.

 

WHAT ARE GOURMET DOLLARS?

Gourmet Dollars are the official currency of the event, and the only payment accepted throughout the venue. You can use a credit card or cash to purchase Gourmet Dollars at designated tents throughout the event. Gourmet Dollars are valued dollar for dollar and come in increments of $1 Gourmet Dollar for $1 USD or $5 Gourmet Dollar for $5 USD.  A convenience fee will be charged for anyone using a credit card at the event. There will be ATMs available throughout the venue.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Free parking is available in both the Vail Village and Lionshead parking structures on the South Frontage Road. The Town of Vail also has an extensive public bus system: https://www.vailgov.com/bus-schedules. All guests are strongly encouraged to utilize the TOV bus system and avoid drinking and driving at all costs. Vail PD, the Eagle County Sheriff, and the CO State Patrol have zero tolerance and will enforce DUI laws to the fullest!
