Skiing, apres skiing, great restaurants and fun bars.  I moved here for a winter in 1991 and was hooked! And that was before I had even spent a summer here!

I have always greatly enjoyed the summer months in Colorado! The bounty of fresh produce that comes from Palisade, Hotchkiss and other small towns.  Along with the artisanal spirits & wines that are being produced on the western slope of Colorado.



My past 22 years in Vail Valley have blessed me with two wonderful kids Samantha (16), and Griffin (14), as well as many good friends. Hosting wine dinners, cocktail seminars, cigar smokers and other culinary events fuel my passion. I have had the great fortune to meet many unbelievable people from all over the globe.   I appreciate good food, wine and spirits and those individuals who create the offerings.

If you find yourself in Vail Village stop by the Lodge at Vail, steps away from the slopes and Gondola one.  There you will find Elway’s.  Elway’s features USDA prime hand carved steaks along with fresh seafood, Colorado lamb and more!  “Cocktails and comebacks” is the theme so expect a good time!
